BreathEdge — State Reset Protocols
Situation · State reset before action
2-minute reset before you send the angry reply
The message lands: two lines, publicly copied, factually wrong. Your reply is already written in your head and your thumb is on send.

What is actually happening
Anger is fast and written messages are permanent. In a spiked state the reply feels precise; twelve hours later it reads as escalation.
What the 2-minute reset can and cannot do
It can
- Insert a real gap between trigger and send button
- Bring activation down enough to re-read what you wrote
- Let you choose escalation instead of defaulting to it
It cannot
- Decide whether the reply should be sent
- Resolve the underlying conflict
- Substitute for HR, legal, or mediation
Safety and stop conditions
Breathe through the nose, sitting or standing still. No hyperventilation and no breath-holding beyond what is comfortable. Stop immediately if you feel dizzy or short of breath. Do not run this while driving. Not medical advice.
If this repeats: Conflict Regulation
Matched protocol pack for this situation — guided audio drills and a PDF protocol guide. See Conflict Regulation →
Other situations
- Before a difficult conversation
- Before a presentation or important meeting
- After an adrenaline spike
- Restart focus
- End-of-day shutdown
About BreathEdge
BreathEdge is a state-reset protocol tool by Alexis Marchais, the practice layer of World Under Pressure. It helps you recover a usable state before pressure becomes reaction. It is not meditation and not Breathedge, the video game.
