BreathEdge — State Reset Protocols
Situation · State reset before action
2-minute end-of-day shutdown reset
The laptop is closed and the day is not. Nothing is urgent anymore, but the system has not been told the action phase is over.

What is actually happening
Operating state does not stop on its own. Without an explicit closure step, the working day keeps running in the background into the evening.
What the 2-minute reset can and cannot do
It can
- Mark an explicit end to the action phase
- Reduce carry-over of unfinished loops
- Make the transition out of operating mode deliberate
It cannot
- Act as a sleep aid or treatment for insomnia
- Finish work that needs finishing tomorrow
- Fix chronically long days
Safety and stop conditions
Breathe through the nose, sitting or standing still. No hyperventilation and no breath-holding beyond what is comfortable. Stop immediately if you feel dizzy or short of breath. Do not run this while driving. Not medical advice.
If this repeats: Sleep Shutdown
Matched protocol pack for this situation — guided audio drills and a PDF protocol guide. See Sleep Shutdown →
Other situations
- Before a difficult conversation
- Before a presentation or important meeting
- Before sending an angry reply
- After an adrenaline spike
- Restart focus
About BreathEdge
